• Organising and developing district and school-based professional development to support the introduction of the K-6 KSIE syllabus. 

•   Training and working with school HSIE coordinators to support their school implementation of the K-6 HSIE syllabus. 

•   Supporting the implementation of civics and citzenship programs as part of the implementation of K-6 HSIE. 

•   Working with Curriculum Support and Training and Development Directorate officers for training and for implementing the K-6 syllabus. 

  This position terminates at the end of 2001.
